Website Forms (Primary Method)

  • Customers provide their phone number when filling out booking, inquiry, or contact forms on our website.

  •  Each form includes an unchecked opt-in checkbox that must be manually selected by the user to agree to receive SMS messages.

  • The checkbox includes clear opt-in language stating the purpose of SMS communication, message frequency, and opt-out instructions.


Example Opt-In Language on Forms:

  • “By checking this box, I consent to receive SMS messages from Gidget’s Waikiki Condo regarding reservations, updates, and promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.”

  •  The checkbox is not pre-checked, ensuring explicit consent.



Consent Confirmation via SMS

  •  Upon opting in, customers receive a confirmation SMS stating they have subscribed and reminding them they can opt out by replying STOP.


Example Confirmation Message:

  • “Thank you for signing up for SMS updates from Gidget’s Waikiki Condo! Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Message & data rates may apply.”


2. Opt-Out Process

  •  Users can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message.

  •  After opting out, they receive a final confirmation message confirming their removal from SMS communications.

“You have successfully unsubscribed from Gidget’s Waikiki Condo SMS messages. You will no longer receive texts from “

  •  Opt-out requests are processed immediately, and users do not receive further messages unless they opt in again manually.


3. Where We Disclose Our SMS Policies
